Blue Frog Technology by Absolute Aeration

The Blue Frog™ Technology was developed by Absolute Aeration in 2004, led by Rick Roberts and Jim Key, and later joined by a third partner and Co-Inventor,
Chip Bettle.

Rick Roberts, President and Co-Founder, is a former dairy farmer who discovered first-hand the difficulty in managing wastewater lagoons. The system was first developed and tested in 1999 using the lagoons from his 2,000-cow dairy. In recognition of their collective efforts, and as a testament to how the technology solved his own problems, Rick was awarded the National Dairyman of the Year award in 2007 by Dairy Farmers of America (DFA). Jim Key, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder, is a mechanical engineer who partnered with Rick in developing the technology. Chip Bettle, Vice President, Director of Engineering, is a chemical engineer with a long list of successful industrial inventions, including 24 patents with 15 patents pending. He combined forces with Rick and Jim to further develop the Blue FrogTM Technology into the system it is today. The Absolute Aeration team continues to work closely to provide an affordable solution for waste water treatment.
